Jennifer Kraus has ridden and cared for horses over the past 30 years. She has an extensive background in hunters, equitation, pleasure, dressage, and low-level eventing. Jen has successfully shown locally and at the A-rated levels throughout her riding career, resulting in numerous year-end championships.
Jen enjoys seeing the growth and success of all of her clients. She can help you achieve your goals, whether winning a competition, moving up a higher level, completing personal riding goals, creating a positive connection with the horse, learning more about yourself, or providing a safe space to de-stress. She works with individuals of all ages and prides herself on meeting the person where they are, utilizing strengths, and taking the best learning pace for the individual.
Jen has a lifelong passion for helping people and incorporating her love of horses. She grew up volunteering for a therapeutic riding program (Maryland Council for Special Equestrians), teaching lessons, and helping riders in the Special Olympics. She sees the therapeutic benefits for all individuals to spending time with horses by either interacting on the ground or on horseback. This inspired her to become certified through the Equine Growth and Assisted Learning Program in 2014. After acting as an equine specialist for several years, she was inspired to obtain her MSW from Salisbury University to become a therapist herself. She presently holds the Military Services Individual Designation through EAGALA. Jen was also certified in 2021 through Natural Lifemanship.

Anna provides compassionate, down-to-earth support for people navigating parenthood, grief, and major life changes. Based in Harford County, Maryland, she helps clients feel seen and supported through some of life’s most tender and transformative seasons.
With a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International, Anna brings deep expertise to her work with individuals facing the emotional challenges of parenthood—including C-section recovery, birth trauma, infertility, TFMR, and the grief that can come with pregnancy or infant loss.
In addition to supporting parents and hopeful parents, Anna specializes in grief and life transitions. Whether you're coping with the loss of a loved one, adjusting to a new life role, or simply feeling unmoored by change, she offers a nonjudgmental, empathetic space to process and heal.
Anna also integrates equine-assisted therapy into her practice, offering a unique, experiential path to growth and connection. Currently completing her Fundamentals training through Natural Lifemanship, she looks forward to bringing this nature-based, relationship-centered model into her work with clients. Sessions at Bay Meadow Farm allow you to step outside of traditional therapy spaces and reconnect—with yourself, with nature, and sometimes with a horse or two.

Alana has been an animal lover since childhood. She grew up always having dogs in the home and finding ways to be a barn rat to spend more time with horses. As an adult, she has two dogs and a horse of her own. She recognized how powerful the human-animal bond could be and has sought to incorporate that bond in her therapeutic work. In her office in Towson, she works with her dog Eir. At the farm in Bel Air she incorporates the horses through observation and playful non-riding activities.
Alana works with clients in a style rooted in attachment and relationships. She empowers clients to improve their self-esteem, find healthy coping mechanisms, process difficult memories and emotions, and create healthy relationships with others.
Alana is accepting new clients on Wednesdays at the farm. She is self-pay or out of network.
