Exceptional Horse Boarding

We offer full and partial care boards. Our horses are on a 12 in/out turnout schedule, weather permitting. We incorporate rotational grazing, fertilizing, and seeding as needed to maximize our pasture. Mares and geldings are separated. Our fields are fenced with either 3 board, no climb horse fencing and polymer strands designed to break at 600 lbs. Several fields have a top wire of electricity. The owner lives on the property.

Includes:

  • Daily turn/in out
  • 2x day feeding of grain (up to 2 scoops a day of barn grain or grain provided by the owner)
  • Blanketing/fly masking at our discretion.
  • Feeding of owner-supplied supplements
  • Daily stall cleaning
  • Round bales in fields during the winter months
  • Hay feeder in stalls filled daily (2 flakes)
  • Owner-supplied fan in the summer months
  • Holding for regularly scheduled appointments with vet/farrier/acupuncturist

Partial care board includes the same amenities as a full care board. You are included in the care of the horses by covering a barn shift on a specified day of the week for a reduced amount of board. The shift includes stalls, hay, water, grain, turn-in, and changing blankets as needed. It takes approximately 2.5 hours a shift. Take off $135 a month for each shift you cover. You are responsible for switching with another partial care boarder to fill in for you if you can’t make it.

The full care board is $600.

A $100 security deposit is required for all boarders.
